I’m not quite at the point of throwing in the towel… but I’m close.

Due to some technical difficulties it has become much harder to add posts to this blog. At the same time, due to some technical smoothities (OK, what’s the opposite of technical difficulties?) it’s much easier to post pictures and videos to FaceBook.

Because I believe almost everyone who reads this blog — Shirley being the big exception — is on FaceBook, I wanted to let you know that I’m probably going to post less frequently here, but continue to post regularly to FaceBook.

If you aren’t on FaceBook… come on, what are you waiting for?!

Fun Weekend

We had a great weekend! Happened upon Tartan Days in St. Charles. A bit of an OD on plaid and bag pipes, but still fun with a parade, sheep to pet, knights “fighting” and more. We also had lots of park time and family time in general. It was great to be together with no agenda.

We’ve had a great visit with Grandma (or as Lauren says “MaGa”) and Papa. We went to Lauren’s first Easter Egg Hunt at the Missouri Botanical Gardens – so cute!

My Aunt Susie and Aunt Jane (my dad’s sisters) visited this weekend. We had a great time and I think they really enjoyed seeing Lauren at this cute, active age.

They were also witness to her evolution out of using a highchair… by pretty much refusing to sit in one any more. Now she wants to sit on a regular chair, and sometimes – very reluctantly – will sit in a booster. Luckily she doesn’t associate her attached-chair at home with a highchair, so she will still go in it… for now.

I’m not sure why some of them are coming in sideways. I’ll try to fix that later. The first one is a great shot… be sure to click to see the full version.

We had a great week with Grandma Aron. Unfortunately not a lot of pictures (although more on her new Droid, she just needs to email them to us).

Here are some fun pics from the last few days. Sitting in the driver’s seat (safely in the garage, with Mom always close at hand) is her new favorite activity. The pics at the window are at Dewey’s, our fave pizza place. And the cute hat she just wanted to wear during the Olympics Closing Ceremonies (maybe because “all the other kids were doing it”).
